This year, the Birmingham Coffee Festival takes place from the 7th to the 9th of June at the Custard Factory.
Last year’s edition impressed us with its fair share of exhibitors and talented roasters and baristas. We had the chance to meet and discuss with most of them and learnt quite a lot about the coffee industry around the UK.
Following the success of the previous edition, this year the organizers stepped up and increased the size from a single zone for the festival to four, thus making it bigger and allowing more exhibitors to be present during the whole weekend. Some familiar brands and faces are present. Some new players are present as well. That way, everyone that went to the previous editions still enjoys some novelty and discovers more!
Obviously, there is a lot of coffee to taste and services to discover for anyone that wants to step in the industry. All this is making it worth spending a whole day full of cafeine. With more than 40 different professionals from the coffee industry! Networking is a big part of the event and everone should be able to end the day with a few phone numbers and new contacts.
Everyone has the chance to take part in the festival for a very reasonable price. All exhibitors are nice and friendly. You can get your hands on some pretty impressive material, going home with new ideas and materials. It is definitely an event worth participating to! Also, the organizers make great efforts every year to make the event better and better, we can only appreciate it!
